Our tour starts with trash...
and moves on to birds. We come across a Blue Footed Booby. These tropical birds got their name because when English Sailors came up to them they showed no fear of humans, making an easy catch. Many a booby ended up in the pot.
We can't seem to escape the presence of trash on this isolated beach.
Plastic is for the birds, literally.
We also managed to husk some coconuts.
Toby scaled a tree.
Ultimately, Henderson Island was amazing.
Gorgeous island.. I am amazed to see trash there.. I guess it would be obvious if there were people there when u video taped... As far as that beautiful bird, its a shame because of the history!. BTW, the weather here in Cali is HOT!. up in the high 90's. Palm Springs has hit the 100 mark..
ReplyDeleteIt is HOT! Sorry to hear about the poor preparations around the bag ban in your area. I'm not surprised but maybe you can get in touch with a city council member and ask for some explanations?
